In celebration of World Oral Health Day 2026, the Department of Dentistry, Federal Teaching Hospital Ido-Ekiti is proud to announce a Statewide Quiz Competition for secondary school students across Ekiti State.
This initiative is aimed at promoting oral health awareness, academic excellence, and healthy competition among young scholars.
Eligibility
The competition is open to all SS1 – SS3 students in secondary schools across Ekiti State.
Prizes to be Won
- 🥇 1st Position: ₦300,000
- 🥈 2nd Position: ₦150,000
- 🥉 3rd Position: ₦100,000

Preliminary Stage (Selection Examination)
Date: Wednesday, March 11, 2026
Venues (Simultaneously held in):
- Ado – Olaoluwa Muslim Grammar School, Ado-Ekiti (10:00 AM)
- Ekiti West (Aramoko) – Aramoko District Commercial Secondary School, Aramoko-Ekiti (10:00 AM)
- Ijero – Doherty Memorial Grammar School, Ijero-Ekiti (10:00 AM)
- Ikole – St Mary's Girls Grammar School, Ikole-Ekiti (10:00 AM)
- Oye – St Augustine's Comprehensive College, Oye-Ekiti (10:00 AM)
- Ise/Orun – Ise Comprehensive High School, Ise-Ekiti (11:00 AM)
- Ido/Osi – Ekiti Parapo College, Ido-Ekiti (9:00 AM)
- Ikere – Ikere High School, Ikere-Ekiti (10:00 AM)
The top 30 candidates from the preliminary stage will qualify for the Grand Finale.
