Notice to Finalists – 2026 World Oral Health Day Secondary School Quiz Competition
The Department of Dentistry, Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti, warmly congratulates all the Top 30 finalists who qualified for the final stage of the 2026 World Oral Health Day Secondary School Quiz Competition.
Your outstanding performance in the preliminary stage earned you a place among the finalists. We celebrate your hard work, dedication, and commitment to learning.
Important Information for Finalists
- Date: Wednesday, March 18, 2026
- Venue: FETHI Conference Hall, Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti
- Arrival Time: 8:30 AM
Important Notice: Any candidate who arrives late will be automatically disqualified. All finalists are therefore expected to arrive early for accreditation.
Competition Format
The competition will consist of three rounds through which the top three winners will emerge.
Round 1
Each of the 30 finalists will answer 15 questions within 45 seconds. The top 10 candidates will advance to Round 2.
Round 2
The 10 qualified candidates will again answer 15 questions within 45 seconds. The top 5 candidates will proceed to Round 3.
Round 3
The top 5 finalists will compete in the final round, from which the top three winners will emerge.
Tie Breaker: In the event of a tie at any stage, the affected candidates will answer additional questions until the tie is broken.
